My Baby is 6!

Thursday, May 4, 2006 my daughter turned six! When did that happen? She is my baby! She only weighs 33 pounds and is about knee high....how strange that she can be six. But, she is. Time just keeps going...minute by minute, day by day, month by month and the next thing I know, she is SIX! I almost cried, I don't know why though. She is growing into such a sweet little girl, I hope we teach her well and help her to strengthen her gifts and be a kind, thoughtful, helpful, grateful little person.

All in all it was a good day! We had a blast watching her open her gifts and be so excited about her Floam, she has been wanting that for a long time! It is kind of cool stuff, but sticky and weird. Thankfully, she is careful with it and understands "keep it off the carpet!" so I think she will have fun with it.

Enough about that......

Did I tell you about my friend Jennifer? Okay, so you know I live in Enumclaw....well, she lives in Federal Way/Auburn down by Camelot Elementary, it's about a 40 minute drive down past the Mucks Casino, onto Hwy 18, up Peasley Canyon, down the curvey hill by the Kelly Garden's Nursery, and keep going to her house....well....she RODE HER BIKE TO MY HOUSE! UP THE MUCKLESHOOT HILL, just because. Well, not really just because, but she is training for the Seattle to Portland, but still! That is a killer ride! She constantly amazes me...she is a wife, mom, student in college, keeps her house clean, and finds time to ride to my house on a bike! Gotta love that! Anyway, I keep asking God if maybe she is at the wrong church because she doesn't go to RLC, but I think He said "no", but maybe I just heard wrong so I will keep hoping! Anyway, she rocks...she is my oldest friend (NOT IN AGE you silly people!) but in time....we have been through the fires together and we still stand strong in friendship. She knew me when I was still quite a mess and yet she opened her heart to me, thank you for that my JenKren. (just don't call her "Jenny")
